South Bay families can start the New Year with a smile at the Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT) production of ELEPHANT & PIGGIE'S WE ARE IN A PLAY, coming to the Sunnyvale Community Center, 550 E. Remington Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94088, for two weekends: January 6-7 and January 13-14, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The holidays are party time, and who knows better how to party than Gerald, the elephant?! Good thing, too, because his best friend Piggie has never been to a party, and really wants him to go with her.

Due to overwhelming audience response, Cloud 9 Theatricals, in association with Lang Entertainment Group and Ray of Light Theatre, announced today the second and final extension of the San Francisco premiere ofSILENCE! The Musical - the "subversively funny and deliciously tasty" award-winning musical parody of "The Silence of the Lambs." Originally scheduled through Saturday, February 25, tickets are now on-sale through its final performance, Saturday, April 1.  The performance schedule is as follows: Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets range in price from $35- $55 and are available online at www.silencethemusicalsf.comand at the Victoria Theatre box office (2961 16th St.) one-hour prior to performance time. Chianti will be on tap at the theater, but at this time, no fava-beans will be made available for public consumption. Ticket prices are subject to change without notice.

Highlights include Ben Platt winning 'Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical' for DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Dan DeLuca as 'Best Actor in a Leading Role in a National Tour Production', and Lucie Arnaz for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a National Tour.'  Thanks to all who voted, and huge congratulations to all the winners!

The final production of the 2013 Shenandoah Summer Musical Theatre season, Shrek: The Musical, is an entertaining and enchanting modern fairy tale filled with wildly comedic moments and, of course, fart jokes. The regional premiere of the musical is the closing production for the summer musical theater company.

Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre's production of Crazy for You is a phenomenal evening of entertainment filled with fantastic tap-dancing and great Gershwin standards. The 1992 musical comedy featuring music and lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin and an updated book by Ken Ludwig was a perfect evening of entertainment in the incredibly talented hands (and tap dancing feet) of the Shenandoah Summer Music Theater company.
