Tickets go on sale today, Saturday, October 17th to the general public and the Walter Kerr Theatre box office opens on Monday, October 19th for the first Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's Tony Award-winning masterpiece A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. The production stars Academy Award-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones and five-time Tony Award®-winner Angela Lansbury, and is directed by Tony Award®-winner Trevor Nunn. The production begins previews on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 and opens on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Rehearsals begin on Monday, October 19th.

Annalene Beechey who starred in the West End productions of 'Marguerite', 'Wicked' and 'Beauty & The Beast', will release her debut solo album next month. The CD features arrangements by Peter White, Jonathan Williams and Richard Taylor. Featured vocalists include Julian Ovenden (Marguerite, Annie Get Your Gun), Rebecca Lock (Avenue Q, Phantom of the Opera) and Simon Greiff (Saturday Night Fever, Spamalot).

The Broadway revival of 'A Little Night Music' is expected to go into a Jujamcyn theater this fall, according to a NY Times story. The paper reports that an announcement will soon be released with details of the production.

A revival of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC is headed for Broadway. The production will be directed by Tony Award-winner Trevor Nunn, and will utilize the creative team behind the recent London production, which opened at the Menier Chocolate Factory before transferring to the Garrick Theatre on December 3, 2008. The new Broadway revival 'rehearses in October 2009. Opens in December. Dates tentative,' according to a recent Equity casting announcement.

The Menier Chocolate Factory's sell out production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music is to transfer to the West End for a strictly limited run. Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production will transfer to the Garrick Theatre from 28 March, with press night on Tuesday 7 April and is booking until 25 July 2009. A Little Night Music is produced in the West End by David Babani for Chocolate Factory Productions, Andrew Fell and Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax Theatres.

Paice Replaces Benanti in Roundabout's A Little Night Music Gala

Jill Paice will replace the previously announced Laura Benanti in the role of Anne Egerman in the Roundabout Theatre Company's gala benefit concert reading of A Little Night Music. Laura Benanti, has withdrawn under a doctor's orders because of a serious throat infection. Benanti is currently starring as Louise/Gypsy in the revival of Gypsy. She is expected to continue to perform in her Tony winning role in Gypsy which closes on Sunday January 11th, but the added rehearsals and peformance of 'Night Music' was considered too much in regards to her throat ailment.

From 1 December 2008, twelve year old Brad Wilson from Doncaster will join the London cast of Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play the title role, making him the thirtieth boy to play the iconic role worldwide, first performed by Jamie Bell in the original movie. He is joined by Joanna Riding who will play Mrs Wilkinson and Joe Caffrey who returns to the production to play Jackie Elliot, Billy?s Dad.
