On December 9, Yellow Sound Label will release the debut solo album of Tony nominee and BEAUTIFUL star Anika Lasen, titled 'Sing You to Sleep.' Anika writes: 'I have cared for a lot of little ones in my time, and I have sung all of them to sleep with some of my all-time favorite songs. I am so thrilled to be able to share this unique combination of ballads and dreamy standards through this album.'

On Monday, November 3, The Theater People Podcast welcomes celebrates Broadway debuts with actresses Margo Seibert (ROCKY THE MUSICAL) and Amber Iman (SOUL DOCTOR). Both actresses discuss landing leading roles for their first Broadway jobs.

Ghostlight Records has announced the launch of the new series 'Ghostlight Shines On...' presenting exclusive audio commentary on some of its major recordings from Broadway and beyond. The series currently features commentary for two hit albums the label released in 2014: the Broadway smash Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and the beloved score for The Bridges of Madison County, which won 2014 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations.

Honest Accomplice Theatre's THE BIRDS & THE BEES: UNABRIDGED is returning to Lower East Side's University Settlement to build on last year's debut success to explore new themes in female and trans sexuality. THE BIRDS & THE BEES: UNABRIDGED explores the unique -- yet interwoven -- life circumstances of eight women & trans people forced to confront their own sexuality, realizing that sexuality itself is not simple or clear-cut. Through dialogue, movement, song, humor, and multimedia, the performance examines such themes as partner communication, sexual identity, the de-sexualization of aging women, today's 'hook-up' culture, and sexual health. Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Jessie Mueller, who won rave reviews and the 2014 Tony Award for her heartwarming portrayal of Carole King, has extended her contract in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical until March 6, 2015. Her co-stars, Tony Award-nominees Anika Larsen and Jarrod Spector, who play legendary songwriting couple Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, will remain in the show until September 2015.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing have announced that the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, has recouped its production costs in less than ten months on Broadway. Capitalized at $13 million, Beautiful has been breaking box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) since it opened in January and now becomes the first new musical of the 2013-2014 Season to recoup.

Campbell, previously with Jersey Boys, will step into the role of 'Gerry Goffin' in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, beginning Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Campbell will take over for Jake Epstein. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it has broken all box office records and continues to play to standing-room-only crowds nightly.
