BEDLAM's SENSE & SENSIBILITY Returns to the Gym at Judson This Month

?BEDLAM has announced the sold-out, award-winning and critically acclaimed production of SENSE & SENSIBILITY will continue its run at THE GYM AT JUDSON (243 Thompson Street) from Friday, June 17, 2016, through Sunday, October 2, 2016.  Following a 2 month hiatus, The Dashwood Sisters are back from their spring holiday and regular performances will resume.

BEDLAM has announced a five-week extension of its critically acclaimed production of Jane Austen's SENSE & SENSIBILITY, adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill. SENSE & SENSIBILITY opens Thursday, February 4, 2016, at 7pm, at THE GYM AT JUDSON (243 Thompson Street) and will now play through Sunday, April 10, 2016.

Rebecca Greenstein (pictured on the left in a photo from the Viennese production of Der Kaiser von Atlantis) founded Opera Moderne (http://www.operamoderne.com) in New York in 2011 and it quickly began to attract favorable reviews for its fresh approach to opera. The company has also spawned two offshoot activities that have attracted enthusiastic audiences - namely, The Hot Box Girls and L'Opera Burlesque, two troupes that combine striptease and other innovations with opera. Rebecca is also an artistic consultant to Texas Light Opera (http://www.texaslightopera.org/about.html). Recently moving to Europe to expand her operations, Rebecca now divides her time between Vienna and New York. In this question-and-answer interview, she talks about the way she is juggling the activities of her three troupes and the geographical divide.

The added performances for Sense & Sensibility are Sunday, December 7 at 2pm, Tuesday, December 16 at 8pm, and Sunday, December 21 at 2pm.
