Playhouse Creatures Presents LOVE SONG, Now thru 6/24

Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company presents the comedy LOVE SONG by John Kolvenbach, tonight, June 9 through June 24, 2012 at Access Theater (380 Broadway at White Street).
The cast will include Playhouse Creatures Theatre company members Eric Doss (Houston Shakespeare Festival; HGO-Basil Twist) as the eccentric Beane, Sarah Koestner (The Libertine, Theatre Row) as his hard- driving successful sister, Joseph W. Rodriguez (Macbeth, New Perspectives; Hamlet, A.R.T.) as brother-in-law Harry, and Patricia Duran (Porco Morto, Mabou Mines; Our Lady of 121st Street, Alley Theatre) as the mysterious Molly. The production will be directed by Kenny Wade Marshall with Light and Set

John Kolvenbach’s offbeat comedy Love Song was a 2007 Olivier Award Nominee for Best New Comedy.
Beane is an exile from life-an oddball. His well-meaning sister, Joan, and brother-in-law, Harry, try and make time for him in their busy lives, but neither can get through. Following a burglary on Beane's apartment, Joan is baffled to find her brother blissfully happy and tries to unravel the
story behind his mysterious new love, Molly.
The show runs tonight, June 9 through 24, Wednesday - Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm with an additional performance Tuesday, June 19 at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $18 at www.smarttix.com or 212.868.4444 at Access Theatre 380 Broadway.
