There's a playwright missing in action this week at Boca Raton's Lynn University where, on Monday, 'Jan McArt's New Play Readings' series will present a staged reading of Michael McKeever's latest work, 'THE CAMP.'    

Celebrated South Florida playwright Michael McKeever's latest work, 'THE CAMP,' will be given a Staged Reading for one night only, as part of the award-winning 'Jan McArt's New Play Readings' series, at 7:30 PM on Monday, March 6th, 2017, in Lynn University's Keith C. and Elaine Johnson Wold Performing Arts Center, Boca Raton, FL.

Island City Stage, the Carbonell Award-winning theatre, is excited to announce it's season for 2017-2018. 

Stage Door Theatre will follow their recent hit production of Sweet Charity with Frank Loesser's award-winning musical The Most Happy Fella.  The production will open on December 30th, and run through February 5th in the theatre's larger auditorium.

Comedy, drama, history, and romance: Bernard Slade's Same Time Next Year, provides a fascinating - and often very funny - look at two ordinary people who grow and change over an extended period of time. The Tony and Drama Desk award-winning play will open at Stage Door Theatre on April 15th, and run through May 22nd.

Due to popular demand the world premiere of 'Who Killed Joan Crawford' has been extended through February 21. 'Some performances were sold out even before the production opened' said Artistic Director, Andy Rogow. 'The word of mouth has been terrific and we continue to work on the play to make it even more fun and entertaining'.

Tonight, January 14th, WHO KILLED JOAN CRAWFORD? will begin a month-long world premiere run at Island City Stage in Wilton Manors, featuring a cast that includes Barry Marcus, Kevin Reilley, Andy Rogow, Troy Stanley and Christian Vandepas, under the direction of Leeds. Can you hear the people sing? The Carbonell Awards judges did, honoring LES MISERABLES at Maltz Jupiter Theatre with 10 Carbonell nominations, the most of any musical production. Daniel's Husband at Island City Stage, a world premiere about the importance of marriage equality, garnered six nominations, the most of any play.
