BROADWAY SESSIONS Puts Spotlight on Whole Artist Management, 2/9

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 9th , Broadway Sessions puts the spotlight on Whole Artist Management and more -. Whole Artist Management clients schedule to perform include Hett Banrhill (Spider-Man), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story), Kennedy Caughell (Great Comet), Hannah DeFlumeri (Bullets Over Broadway), Alexa Green (Wicked), Amy Linden (Bridges of Madison County), Emily McNamara (Newsical), Kyle Taylor Parker (Kinky Boots, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Monica Ramirez, Brian Charles Rooney (Three Penny Opera), Sheri Sanders (Rock the Audition), Samantha Shafer (Rocky), Christopher Timson (Young Frankenstein), Lily Tobin, Clyde Voce (Rock of Ages), Brit West (The Color Purple), Andrew Wheeler and Noah Zachary. - The evening will also feature performance from the upcoming Broadway Au Carre concert. featuring the music from Dana Levinson's 5th Republic sung by Lisandro Nesis and Manon Taris -Whole Artist Management is comprised of managers Rich Martino and Mike Cruz. Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Laurie Beechman Theater inside The West Bank Cafe located at 407 west 42nd street (corner of 42nd street and 9th avenue). Local Gang Life Takes the Stage in A GOOD WAY OUT at Pacific Theatre

A fierce, compelling story of crime and compromise. Pacific Theatre begins its 2016-2017 season bringing local gang life to the stage in A Good Way Out by Cara Norrish. Tough and uncompromising, this World Premiere follows Joey, a hardworking mechanic who just happens to be the front man for a biker gang. He joined “the family” for protection when he was young, but now he has a family of his own and his priorities have changed. You can't leave family behind, though, whether they are by blood or by bond, and a few bad decisions turn this dangerous world against him and those he loves.

The depth of hope and height of despair come together in Lyra: A Dark Fairy Tale, a musical adaptation of the original Little Mermaid story, set against the backdrop of a Faustian Dust Bowl era circus. Tonight, December 16th at 9:30pm there will be a concert performance of this daunting and inspiring epic new musical at 54 Below, 254 West 54th Street, New York City.

Lisa Howard Rounds Out Cast of Tim Realbuto's WUNDERKIND at NYMF

Drama Desk Award winner and Drama League nominee Lisa Howard, who is currently earning rave reviews starring as Jenny Steinberg in Broadway's 'It Shoulda Been You', is the final special guest performer to join Tim Realbuto in his autobiographical piece 'Wunderkind' at The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Ms. Howard is also well known for her portrayal of Rona Lisa Peretti in the original Broadway cast of 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'. Her numerous other Broadway credits include Lincoln Center's 'South Pacific'; '9 to 5'; and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'. On television, she appeared on ABC's 'Ugly Betty', but is perhaps most known to film audiences as Siobahn in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.' Next up, she will star as Sylvia in director Joseph Wartnerchaney 's thriller 'Decay' for Ghost Orchid Films.

Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone; Mamma Mia!) and Michael Nigro (who starred as Fredrich von Trapp opposite Carrie Underwood in NBC's "The Sound of Music Live!") are the final two special guest performers to join Tim Realbuto in his autobiographical piece 'Wunderkind' at The New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Tim Realbuto is bringing his critically acclaimed not-so-solo solo show 'Tim Realbuto: Wunderkind' to the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) for a special one night only concert event on Sunday, July 26th at 5:00 PM. Individual tickets cost $27.50 and the performance will take place at Theater 3, 311 W. 43rd Street, NYC.

New York Musical Theatre Festival 2015 Launches Today; Full Lineup!

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) recently announced its full lineup of productions, readings, and concerts for NYMF 2015. From today, July 7, to July 27, NYMF 2015 will present almost two dozen productions of new musicals, including the newly announced Passing By and Summer Valley Fair. In addition, NYMF 2015 will also feature staged readings and the debut of brand new concerts.

Welcome to the Hamptons - where guests are gathering at the old Jordan estate at 210 Amlent Avenue for Fourth of July Festivities with their host, Mrs. Jordan, a retired actress.  But one unexpected guest, Judah, a young poet, is about to ignite a firestorm of events. In his search for the truth, he will unearth long kept secrets that will lead to unexpected consequences.  210 Amlent Avenue is one of the 10 Next Link musicals chosen and to be presented as part of the 12th edition of The New York Musical Theatre Festival, which starts July 7-27.

ITSAZOO Takes on Corporate Culture With THE COMPETITION IS FIERCE Premiere Tonight

ITSAZOO Productions presents The Competition is Fierce -- a new play by Co-Artistic Producer Sebastien Archibald - from tonight, March 3 to 22, 2015 at the Shop Theatre at Renegade Studios (125 East 2nd Avenue). Directed by Chelsea Haberlin, the work is set in a dystopian corporate future where 'climbing the company ladder' entails gladiatorial combat to the death.

CLOSING THE GAP to Feature Songs by Levinson & Weingarten at Joe's Pub, 2/16

Closing the Gap - A Benefit Concert - A special One Night Only Concert featuring the songs of Dramatist Guild Fellows Dana Levinson and Stacey Weingarten. Inspired by an Ira Glass quote, musical theater writing team Levinson and Weingarten air their dirty laundry and reveal the sometimes painful but often hilarious process of closing the gap between artistic taste and ability. All profits from this concert will go to the Levels Teen Center at the Great Neck Library.
