Producing Founding Artistic Director Liz Flemming, Associate Artistic Director, Ethan Paulini and Out of the Box Theatrics will reveal their 2018 season on Tuesday, November 14 at 7pm. Broadway performer Brian Charles Rooney will perform and serve as host.
Based on Daniel Wallace's novel and Tim Burton's 2003 film adaptation, this musical is quite the oddity. Screenwriter John August has tinkered with the book since its brief Broadway run in 2013, but it remains an unfathomable mixture of magical and mawkish, whimsy and desolation.
Kelsey Grammer stars in Big Fish THE MUSICAL as Edward Bloom, alongside Clare Burt and more. Based on the novel Big Fish by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia Pictures film screenplay by John August, this new production will be the London premiere of the musical and also marks Kelsey's first time on the London stage.

Early on in her Cafe Carlyle debut this past month, Mandy Gonzalez remarked on how excited she was to be uptown, though, while the HAMILTON star was at the mic, it was anything but quiet.

It's the Jazz Age, and a parade of misfits and social outcasts have a party. William Peace Theatre brings the 1920's to life in Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, November 16 - 19 in Kenan Auditorium in the Browne-McPherson building on campus at 15 E. Peace St., Raleigh.
Broadway actor Corey Mach, seen in Hands on a Hardbody and Godspell, as well as on tour in Wicked, Rent and Flashdance, will hold a masterclass on October 29 centered on the musical theater audition. He is currently in Cleveland starring as Quasimodo in Great Lakes Theatre's acclaimed production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Th Cafe Carlyle has the appropriate nightclub style low ceiling which adds to the rooms intimacy. Mandy Gonzalez a statuesque beauty raised the roof both physically and vocally in an exciting evening in her Carlyle debut with a song list to please all tastes in music.
I think I'm addicted to immersive theatre, especially the way Denver Center's Off-Center has been bringing it. Their most recent production is a fully realized musical The Wild Party, a jazzy show set in the Roaring Twenties, where audience members can sip their gin alongside the performers. You're even encouraged to dress up in your best flapper attire.
The words 'an intimate evening with' may seem at odds with the cavernous Palladium. But leave it to the pint-sized Broadway legend with the huge voice to work her magic on the space. Somehow, with just a mic and a piano, Kristin Chenoweth put on a spectacular show and simultaneously formed a heartfelt connection with fans.
The Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division Theatre and Music Departments present the musical BIG FISH 12 Chair Version, by Andrew Lippa, with a book by John August, at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, November 9 through November 11 and November 16 through November 18, with a matinee on Sunday, November 12 at 2 p.m., at the Malibu campus' Smothers Theatre.
In Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party, decadence and excess roar across the stage in this steamy prohibition tale based on Joseph Moncure March's 1928 narrative poem of the same name. This darkly brilliant show, featuring one of the most exciting, pulse-racing scores ever written, will open the 2017-2018 season at CDC Theatre in Cranford, NJ. This marks the 99th season at New Jersey's oldest continuously producing community theatre.
