The Public Theater, Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, producers of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON are pleased to announce that in celebration of the box office opening on Monday, August 23rd they will be offering tickets for the first preview (Monday, September 20th at 7:00) for the cost of an ‘Andrew Jackson' ($20).

The Public Theater, Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, producers of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON are pleased to announce the return of cast members JAMES BARRY, GREG HILDRETH, JEFF HILLER, LUCAS NEAR-VERBRUGGHE, BEN STEINFELD, MARIA ELENA RAMIREZ, KATE CULLEN ROBERTS, and EMILY YOUNG, all of whom appeared in the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production this past spring at The Public's Newman Theater.

Following its successful run at The Public Theater, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON will begin performances on Broadway at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre (242 W. 45th Street) on September 20, 2010 and officially open on October 13, 2010. Nine theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 46th Annual Awards in a luncheon ceremony this fall. Eighty-one theater artists were nominated for outstanding artistry in 46 productions presented during the 2009-2010 New York theater season. Producer Scott Sanders announced today that an additional four weeks of performances have been added to the limited Broadway engagement of the highly anticipated stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show. Beginning previews October 26 and opening on November 11, the limited engagement was originally scheduled to run through December 5. The engagement will now add 32 performances and run through the Christmas and New Year's holidays, giving its final Broadway performance on January 2, 2011 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd street).

The production of DAMN YANKEES playing at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport (LI), New York is a solid one. There are fine performances, inventive staging, colorful costumes and a jaunty score. However something very magical takes place half way through the second act: it is at this point that Broadway veteran André De Shields, who plays Mr. Applegate, sits in a chair, crosses his legs and launches into the song 'Those Were The Good Old Days'. It is the moment when the show is elevated into something extremely grand and memorable.

According to a report by TVGuide.com, Mamie Gummer will be returning to 'The Good Wife' as Nancy in the upcoming season. Gummer, who will soon be starring in Shonda Rhimes' latest creation on ABC, 'Off the Map', is currenty engaged to BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON star Ben Walker. her past Broadway credits include: the 2008 revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses and The 24 Hour Plays.
