The popular comedy variety show The Same Sex-Tacular returns to The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre on Saturday, September 25th at 11:55 PM. Hosted by Tim Gunn (Michael Hartney) and Tim Gunn (John Flynn), and featuring two audience members who will compete in a design challenge that ends in a walk-off, only one designer can be called the winner.

Ghostlight Records continues their exciting Fall season with the announcement of the September 21st double-CD digital release of their Original Cast Recording of 'THINGS TO RUIN - The Songs of Joe Iconis.'

To kickoff the first week of performances of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON and fittingly, the coming election season, producers of the show announce a partnership with ROCK THE VOTE organization in hopes to reach out and remind people to register to vote, especially as the midterm elections approach. As part of this partnership, on Friday, September 24th, volunteers from ROCK THE VOTE will be at the theatre at the beginning and at the end of the show with voter registration sign up sheets. There will be additional show days as well when volunteers will be there.

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that Al Pacino's star power has earned The Merchant of Venice the winners spot for the fall's highest advance generating show. The production, which opens at the Broadhurst Theatre on November 7, 2010, has reportedly taken in approximately $4M, beating out all incoming fall plays and musicals.

R&H Theatricals, a division of Rodgers & Hammerstein: An Imagem Company, has acquired the performance rights to Adam Gwon's musical ORDINARY DAYS, and will begin accepting applications for professional productions starting Tuesday, September 21. On the same day, Ghostlight Records will release the Original Cast Album CD of ORDINARY DAYS.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced a second extension today for the highly anticipated GATZ, the critically acclaimed theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.

Ghostlight Records has confirmed a September 21st release date for their Original Cast Recording of The Public Theater's Production of BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON. The show will soon move to Broadway (The CD will be released to coincide with previews, which begin September 20 at The Bernard B Jacobs Theatre.)

Christina Ricca (Time Stands Still) and the cast of Memphis kicked off the week on Monday, September 13. On Tuesday, Fallon was visited by Sean Hayes and Tony Goldwyn of Promises, Promises. On Wednesday, the ladies of American Idiot stopped by to perform 'Letterbomb' and yesterday, the cast of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson stopped by to perform 'Rock Star.'
