With an alluring and gorgeous Morticia (played by Broadway diva Sara Gittelfinger) and a charming and swellegant Gomez (Great White Way heartthrob Douglas Sills) leading the charge, the onstage iteration of Charles Addams' cartoon family is surely a dysfunctional lot. But, more importantly, they are enormously winning-their interpersonal relationships are not so unlike your own, I daresay-and composer/lyricist Andrew Lippa and book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice have crafted a storyline that broadens the family's appeal, while more deeply etching the family's brand (particularly in these days of all-encompassing marketing ploys) on American pop culture.

Music Theatre International (MTI) released the licensing rights to over 20 musicals during 2011 for both amateur and professional productions. As first reported on Deadline.com, Legendary Pictures has delayed filming of the upcoming film PARADISE LOST. Shooting for the film was set to begin in January of 2012. Alex Proyas is to direct the epic action adventure which is based on the classic poem by John Milton and tells the tale of good versus evil.

John Rando (Tony Winner for Urinetown) returns to the Alley to reinvent his hilarious 2009 Off-Broadway staging of The Toxic Avenger following his smashing Alley productions of The Man Who Came to Dinner, Mrs. Mannerly and Be My Baby.
