The cast of TUTS Underground's new musical LMNOP has undergone a last minute switch.

Letters are flying, and this cast sure has a way with words! TUTS Underground, in association with Third Coast Creative, presents LMNOP - A New Muzical, through April 19 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center. Chaos arises when letters begin to fall from a town monument and government officials ban them one by one. The community depends on the strength of a determined teenage girl to fight for their freedom of speech. This unique musical is part romance, part clever word game and part adult fable that reminds us of how precious our liberties are and how important it is to have the courage to stand up for what we believe. Celebrating its third annual festival, Jump On the DanceWagon (J/DW) returns to the Ailey Citigroup Theatre with world premiere works by up-and-coming female choreographers. Presenting a unique opportunity for contemporary artists to share the stage on a transparent and financially feasible platform, Jump on the DanceWagon is proud to showcase six 20-minute pieces by a group of promising young women -- Nicole Buggé (Buggé Ballet), Alexandra Pobiedzinski (danceETHOS), Jackie Kokolus (danceETHOS), Morgan Chambers (danceETHOS), Megan Mizanty (MizantyMoves Dance Works), and Jessie Tomanek (JT Lotus Dance Company).

This world premiere, one-woman musical follows the zany adventures of struggling New York actress Rita Donatella in her desperate attempts to land the role of a lifetime - to star in a film with Johnny Depp! You'll laugh and cry with Rita on her heartfelt and spirited journey through the highs and lows of wishing to be famous, and realizing that sometimes we let our goals get in the way of the important things in life. The musical runs January 22-31 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Mary Jane and friends are coming to town! TUTS Underground is taking you on a hilarious, psychedelic journey through Reefer Madness, Sept. 25 - Oct. 5 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center. Inspired by the classic 1936 anti-marijuana propaganda film, this tongue-in-cheek musical follows the hysterical downward spiral that arises when a group of clean-cut kids fall prey to the dreaded marijuana, and we're here to tell you who those crazy kids are.

An often over-looked subject in the musical genre is the hardworking, semi-rural blue-collar working class American, but that is exactly the focus of HANDS ON A HARDBODY. The Texas-centric musical, based on the 1997 documentary of the same title, is enjoying a phenomenal Texas Premiere.

The World Premiere production of MURDER BALLAD at MTC's The Studio at Stage II took New York by storm in 2012. In 2013 it transferred to the Union Square Theatre and played 17 previews and 70 regular performances before closing on July 21. Now, TUTS Underground is producing the National Regional Premiere of the exhilarating, crowd-pleasing musical, and this sultry tale of love, passion, and murder is simply too good to miss.

Dance Entropy presents the eighth annual Green Space Blooms, a Queens celebration of new dance and music. The festival will take place at Green Space, today, April 10, 11, 12, and 13 at 8 PM.
