Winner of a record-breaking nine Whatsonstage Awards 2015 including Best Show, Birmingham Hippodrome is thrilled to play host to Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON which lands in Birmingham for 9 weeks from 26 July - 23 Sept as part of a major new UK Tour.

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISERABLES, will go on sale at ppacri.org on Sunday, June 11 at 10A for its much anticipated National Tour Launch at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), direct from a celebrated two-and-a-half year Broadway engagement. As rehearsals begin, Cameron Mackintosh is delighted to announce final casting for the UK and Ireland tour of his acclaimed production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON. Ryan O'Gorman will play 'John', and Marsha Songcome will play 'Gigi' until 1 August when Na-Young Jeon will take over the role.

You don't always need a fairy godmother for your dreams to come true. Nineteen-year-old Emily Bautista was lucky enough to have extremely supportive parents and a boatload of talent instead. The thankful and humble young woman is now performing eight times a week in the Broadway revival of “Miss Saigon” as an ensemble member and understudies the lead: Kim. Emily and I actually went to high school together at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts for Musical Theatre, and I was floored and overjoyed to see that she had been cast in the production. Bautista took some time in between shows of the Tony-nominated production to chat with me about her experience landing her first Broadway show.

Grease is the word! The hit 70s musical returns in 2017 for a UK tour, opening in Manchester on 10 March 2017. Casting for the tour includes Tom Parker (The Wanted) who makes his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko, Danielle Hope (Over the Rainbow winner) who plays Sandy, and Louisa Lytton (Strictly Come Dancing, EastEnders) who plays Rizzo.
