It was an historic night for so many reasons and although yesterday was spent in BroadwayWorld 'after-glow and recovery' we rushed out the behind the scenes photos, taken by two photographers who were with us since the beginning - Linda Lenzi and Walter McBride. Monday night, for two astonishing SOLD OUT performances, Joe's Pub became the backdrop for BroadwayWorld.com's 10th Anniversary celebration. The show conceived by Robert Diamond and Richard Jay-Alexander boasted talent from Broadway and beyond.
Just last night, BroadwayWorld kicked off our 10th Anniversary concert series with not one, but two triumphant performances of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. The cast not only donated their time and talent to this amazing double-header event, but also took the time to sign posters for sale to raise additional funds for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. TONY and EMMY Award winner Leslie Uggams has replaced Faith Prince for the performance of 4 Girls 4 at the State Theatre in Easton on Friday, April 4. The announcement was made by the show's producer. Uggams will appear with Andrea McArdle, Maureen McGovern and Donna McKechnie. John McDaniel is the Music Director.

Broadway Records celebrates their first ever Grammy nomination for the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Tony Award winning MATILDA THE MUSICAL. Broadway Records released this cast album in conjunction with Yellow Sound Label. MATILDA THE MUSICAL was the third original cast album, sixteenth album overall, released by the two-year old record label dedicated to Broadway and Off Broadway-related recordings.
Those wishing to pursue a career in acting or singing may choose from a variety of courses at The Media Theatre beginning the weekend of January 11, 2014. The Winter Session of classes offers acting lessons weekly for children through adults as well as a new Improvisation Class with an instructor from Second City Training Center.
