Terrorist plots, underfunded government departments, unjustifiable military action - all very modern worries, I'm sure you'll agree. However, playwright Anders Lustgarten and director Matthew Dunster beg to differ. The second production of The Winter Selection is a new play, The Secret Theatre, ostensibly about Sir Francis Walsingham and his Elizabethan intelligence network (after which the play is named), yet actually telling a very familiar tale for the 21st century.
THE DAMNED UNITED to Embark on First UK Tour

The stage adaptation of THE DAMNED UNITED is transferring to London for a run at The Pleasance Islington from 13-18 November as part of its first UK tour. Award-winning playwright Anders Lustgarten (Lampedusa/The Seven Acts of Mercy) has adapted David Peace's novel for Red Ladder Theatre Company, which takes the play to the London venue following its success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

DNAWORKS and Stage West Theatre will present "AFTER ORLANDO: An International Theatre Action in Response to the Pulse Night Club Shooting", a staged reading, post show community dialogue, and reception at Stage West Theatre on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 7:00pm.
