Because of a last-minute change in his travel schedule, JOHN TARTAGLIA (Avenue Q) will not be appearing in THE MARCY & ZINA SHOW at Birdland tonight. The show, however, will go on as scheduled at 7pm.

Some of New York's leading Broadway and TV stars give new life to the old tradition of the Purimspiel.

Unfortunately, a scheduling conflict has forced singer Max von Essen to cancel his Birdland debut on Monday, March 28. A substitute date will be announced shortly. Songwriters Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich will replace von Essen in the 7pm slot. Their Birdland concert this coming Monday, March 7, is completely sold-out, so disappointed fans will have another chance to see The Marcy & Zina Show.

MCC THEATER presents its 2005 Spring Gala benefit, MISCAST, a star-studded musical revue featuring some of Broadway's biggest names singing show tunes from roles they would never, ever perform, on Monday, March 14 at Roseland 239 West 52nd Street. The evening, which honors Gerald Schoenfeld, chairman of The Shubert Organization, will feature performances by Ana Gasteyer, Jackie Hoffman, Andrea Martin, Steven Pasquale, Bruce Vilanch and Tom Wopat. Scott Wittman (co-creator of Hairspray) will direct.

The CD is now available for pre-order, and is expected to ship the third week of March.

The New York-based award-winning songwriting team of composer, Zina Goldrich and lyricist, Marcy Heisler are bringing The Marcy & Zina Show to BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street) for a one-night only performace Monday, March 7, 2005. They will be joined by John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), Julia Murney (Lennon and The Wild Party), Ana Gasteyer ('Saturday Night Live'), composer/performers Amanda Green & Tom Kitt and many more. This evening is part of The Winter Season, presented by Jim Caruso in association with TheaterMania.com, which features top Broadway and cabaret performers at the world-class music room. There is a $25 cover and $10 food/drink minimum.

After a successful debut last year, Cabaret Gourmet returns as a celebration of the shared spirit of the culinary and theatre arts. ight Records founder Kurt Deutsch will gather the all-star cast of the recent Actors Fund of American benefit concert of the Galt MacDermont-Gerome Ragni-James Radio musical HAIR for a marathon all-day recording session on Friday, October 1. The recording, to be produced by Deutsch and Joel Moss, will feature the complete score and original orchestrations of the classic '60's musical. Benefit producer and musical director Seth Rudetsky will conduct the recording.
