ZACH Theatre has announced the casting for a world premiere, multi-cultural, musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, at the Topfer Theatre, November 26 - December 28, 2014. This fresh take on the holiday classic, infused with modern pop, rock, and R&B hits, stars HARVEY GUION (White Christmas) as Ebenezer Scrooge, RODERICK SANFORD (The Gospel At Colonus) as the Ghost of Marley, and PAUL SANCHEZ (The Who's Tommy) as the humble Bob Crachit.

Tony Award nominee Meg Bussert (Camelot, Brigadoon, The Music Man), Tony Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Avenue Q, I Love You Because), Aaron Ramey (Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Bridges of Madison County) and Julie Reiber (Wicked, Priscilla Queen of the Desert ) are among the artists taking part in Too Legit to Quit 3: a Riff-Free Evening at the Movies, March 23rd at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City.

Thanks to a triple threat cast with energy to spare, this silly show is one to see!

True to form, "Rock of Ages" provides "nothing but a good time." Just the right combination of musical theatre storytelling and rock n' roll partying, "Rock of Ages" features a perfectly balanced sound system, just loud enough to blow your mind, but not loud enough to blow your eardrums. The innovative production includes awesome audience interaction, with shout outs to the local audience and fun recognition of traditional Broadway musical theatregoers.

The Marcus Center for Performing Arts was rocking Tuesday night for the opening of the Broadway Across America touring company of "Rock of Ages". The atmosphere at the theater was more like a rock concert, than a Broadway musical. And, for this particular brand of show, it worked spectacularly.
