As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Harvey Weinstein and director Diane Paulus recently announced that Finding Neverland will open on Broadway at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on April 8, 2015. This announcement comes on the heels of Finding Neverland's sold-out, world-premiere engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University. Finding Neverland will begin preview performances on Broadway in March, 2015. Casting will be announced shortly.

Profiles Theatre announces the next show of its 26th Season with the 20th Anniversary production of The Cryptogram by David Mamet, directed by Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The production runs through November 16, 2014 at Profiles Theatre's The Alley Stage, 4147 N. Broadway.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, in reaction to a piece written by New York Post journalist Michael Riedel criticizing the new musical Finding Neverland, the producers of the show found out that Riedel had not seen the show and had been writing speculatively.

This announcement comes on the heels of Finding Neverland's sold-out, world-premiere engagement at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, which ended yesterday. The production began previews at the Loeb Drama Center on Wednesday, July 23, and ran for a total of 75 performances - all of which played to capacity crowds, making it the highest attended and highest grossing production in A.R.T.'s 34-year history. Finding Neverland will begin preview performances on Broadway in March, 2015. Casting will be announced shortly.

Three-time Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello wowed 'em in a one-night only performance presented by FUDGE Theatre Company Founding Artistic Director Joey DeMita, in association with Matt Phillipps. With her virtuoso piano accompanist/Music Director Phil Reno, the versatile artist stormed through a set list of eleven o'clock numbers from Broadway musicals. It was an unusual way for her to spend her night off from FINDING NEVERLAND at the A.R.T., but the appreciative audience at the Arsenal Center for the Arts didn't seem to mind.

Lucie Arnaz is set to return to Broadway in the role of "Berthe" in the Tony Award winning PIPPIN for a limited engagement beginningThursday, October 9 through Sunday, November 9. Ms. Arnaz is currently playing the role in the PIPPIN national tour which opens this week at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, CA. Tony Award winner Priscilla Lopez recently returned to the Broadway cast in the role of "Berthe." PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

SHN has announced that Andrea Martin, who won the 2013 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for creating the role of 'Berthe' in the Broadway production, will reprise the role in the final two weeks (October 7-19) of the San Francisco engagement at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre.
