The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast premiere of an exciting new American play, Rich Girl, by acclaimed playwright Victoria Stewart, continuing the Globe's 80th Anniversary festivities as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration. Rich Girl will be directed by James Vasquez (Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show), and will play May 23 - June 21, 2015, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The American Repertory Theater/Moscow Art Theater School Institute for Advanced Theater Training, presents the last two productions of its season, William Shakespeare's comedy Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Anya Safir, and Paula Vogel's Desdemona: A Play About a Handkerchief, directed by Melia Bensussen.

The Nora Theatre Company will present Saving Kitty by Marisa Smith, featuring film and television star Jennifer Coolidge, and is directed by Artistic Director Lee Mikeska Gardner. Saving Kitty runs from July 9 through August 2, 2015. The press performance is Monday, July 13 at 7:30PM.

The producers of the Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical PIPPIN are pleased to announce that Tony Nominated, ADRIENNE BARBEAU will play the role of 'Berthe' in the national tour of PIPPIN in select cities! PIPPIN comes to the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts tonight, April 28 - May 3, 2015.

The American Repertory Theater of WNY's 2014-15 season wraps up with an one-act showcase entitled RUST BELT GROTESQUE with darker regional historical tales of murderers, rapists, a Vaudevillian performer's fall from grace and incredibly dumb brothers. David Mirvish is extending for the final time the Toronto production of the Tony Award-winning 'Best Musical' ONCE. The production, which began performances at the Ed Mirvish Theatre on February 10, 2015, will now play until June 28. But the show must leave the Ed Mirvish Theatre on that day because Disney's production of NEWSIES moves into the venue the following week.

Gotham Chamber Opera announces its 15th Anniversary Season, which will begin in the fall of 2015 with a 15th Anniversary Celebration Concert (date and venue tba). The season continues in February 2016 with Alessandro Stradella's 1675 San Giovanni Battista (Saint John the Baptist)in a co-production with the Netherlands Nationale ReisOpera, and a concert at (le) poisson rouge, 158 Bleecker Street, NYC, featuring a new work by David Hertzberg, winner of the Catherine Doctorow Prize for Music. The season concludes with the New York premiere of Charlie Parker's Yardbird, a co-production of the Apollo Theater, Gotham Chamber Opera and Opera Philadelphia, at the world famous Apollo Theater in May/June 2016.
