Westchester Broadway Theatre's CAMELOT Begins 1/29

Lerner and Loewe's timeless masterpiece, Camelot was inspired by T. H. White's chivalric tale, 'The Once and Future King". It is considered one of history's greatest love stories. Lincoln Center Education to Host 'Next Stage' Event on Theater and Autism, 2/19

Lincoln Center Education, the education cornerstone of Lincoln Center and a global leader in arts education and advocacy, announces the first event of the 2015 Next Stage series, a discussion series launched last year with high-profile artists exploring the role of arts education in their creative and commercial work. The first event, taking place February 19 at Lincoln Center's Clark Studio Theater, will focus on artists involved in the creation of works for the specific audience of people on the autism spectrum. The panel of directors will discuss the pathways and opportunities to creating performances for this audience, whether it be in the form of an adapted or modified work, or a wholly original work.

OLIVES AND BLOOD Opens 10/2 at Connecticut Repertory Theatre

On October 2, OLIVES AND BLOOD will open on the stage at Connecticut Repertory Theatre, making its regional theatre and Connecticut premiere. The production marks the culmination of a journey that playwright Michael Bradford began nearly a decade earlier. The play explores the mystery surrounding the unsolved murder of the Spanish poet-playwright, Federico Garcia Lorca. Lorca, a promising and polarizing young artist, was disappeared during the Spanish Revolution.

Jim Brochu Returns to Barrington Stage in CHARACTER MAN, Beginning Tonight

Barrington Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd and Managing Director Tristan Wilson, welcomes the return of Drama Desk Award-winner Jim Brochu in his new show Character Man, following his wildly successful run of Zero Hour in 2011. A musical valentine celebrating the Golden Age of the American Musical, Character Man will be presented at BSC's St. Germain Stage at the Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center from tonight, September 18 through 28. The press opening is Saturday, September 20 at 7:30pm.

ALLEN will sit down with Tony Award-Winning Actress PHYLICIA RASHAD to discuss her fascinating work as a theatre artist. In the play, the Harlem native embodies a half-a-dozen characters - from an 81-year old Holocaust survivor recounting a chance encounter with Billy Holiday to a 13-year old Latina who succumbs to a sexy young gang member - united over the course of time by a ubiquitous city stoop. The show runs for just 10 days from today, July 24 - August 3 at the Weston Rod and Gun Club.
