Michael Haynie, who was seen last on Broadway in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Jesus Christ Superstar: Live!, join the previously announced cast of Arrowhead, A New Musical which includes Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels), Doug Plaut (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt, Hurricane Bianca 2), Nikhil Saboo (Mean Girls), Dani Shay (The Glee Project, America's Got Talent), Lauren Zakrin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), Laquet Sharnell Pringle (Memphis, Beautiful the carol King musical), Amber Ardolino (Hamilton, Head Over Heels), Becca Kotte (Gettin' The Band Back Together, Rock of Ages), Dan Domenech (Heathers the Musical, Glee), Jasmin Richardson (Gettin' The Band Back Together, Bodyguard the Musical) and Miles Davis Tillman, Mollie Posnik, Meadow Nguy. Rounding out the cast are Jade Turner, Elixis Morton, Dillan Smith and Jeremy Konopka. The concert is directed by Dan Barron, music directed by Michael Pacifico, produced by Franklin Livingston, with casting by Courtney Hammond.

Regina King, Sanaa Lathan and Elaine Welteroth have been confirmed as presenters for the 12th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Adding to the 'Black Girl Magic' on stage will be a performance by award-winning singer and actress Amber Riley. This year, ESSENCE celebrates the global influence of Hollywood's leading female artist-activists and will honor actress Amandla Stenberg (“The Hate U Give”), actress/singer and author Jenifer Lewis (“Black-ish”), actress KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”) and actress Regina Hall (“Shaft”). The event will be hosted by singer/actress Kelly Rowland.

The life of late legendary producer Craig Zadan will be celebrated by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) - the organization dedicated to supporting theatre arts in schools and nurturing students all over the country - at the organization's annual West Coast gala Thespians Go Hollywood - Honoring the Life and Work of Craig Zadan. The celebration will take place on November 11, 2018 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' headquarters in North Hollywood. The announcement was made by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment, and Julie Cohen Theobald, President of the Educational Theatre Foundation.

'I love places that have so much history,' says the Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe nominee. Among the celebrated singers who've sung there: Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Marlene Dietrich, Peggy Lee and Tina Turner. And in 1961, Tony Bennett first performed 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' there, which is especially apt since the Fairmont sits high upon Nob Hill, 'where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars.'
