The complete cast and creative team have been announced for the Southern California Premiere of 'The Oldest Boy' as San Diego REPertory Theatre continues its 40th Anniversary Season. REP Co-Founder and Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse directs his second production of the season, taking on this one-of-a-kind play by REP favorite, Sarah Ruhl. The show's run will begin performances on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 and run through Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 with an opening night on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at 7 p.m. in the Lyceum Stage Theatre.

The Ensemble at New Village Arts takes on Shakespeare's broadest farce in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS. Directed by Justin Lang, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS allows the Ensemble to show off its comedic skills. Set in the 1950s as if it were being filmed in front of a "live studio audience", NVA's THE COMEDY OF ERRORS is a tale full of mistaken identity, slapstick humor and romance. Featuring NVA favorites Amanda Sitton, Manny Fernandes, Kristianne Kurner and John DeCarlo, this show promises to be a big departure from NVA's highly lauded OF MICE AND MEN and an easy laugh before the intense dark comedy of BURIED CHILD. Motivated by Cygnet's collaborative internship program with SDSU, as well as Cygnet Artist graduates and teachers from San Diego area schools, Cygnet Theatre is delighted to announce its newest program, the $10 STUDENT TICKET PROGRAM. Throughout Cygnet's 2011/2012 Season, theatre teachers from local schools are invited to bring their classes to any Cygnet show for just $10 per student ticket. Students must show a valid school ID to receive their $10 ticket, and quantities are limited.

New Village Arts is proud to present the West Coast Premiere of Scott Hudson's two-hander SWEET STORM. Directed by Ensemble Member Daren Scott, SWEET STORM features Ensemble Member Adam Brick with Kelly Iversen as young newlyweds in 1960's Florida, spending their wedding night in a romantic treehouse built by Bo for his new wife Ruthie. SWEET STORM will be playing at New Village Arts Theatre (2787 State Street, Carlsbad Village) from April 20 - May 15, 2011. The official opening night is April 23 at 8 PM.
