Lifeline Theatre presents the world premiere of Click, Clack Boo! A Tricky Treat, a family musical based on the brand new book by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin.

Lifeline Theatre is proud to announce four new members of its artistic ensemble: Heather Currie, Amanda Delheimer Dimond,Amanda Link, and Maren Robinson. Lifeline's ensemble determines the company's artistic programming and provides leadership, support and counsel in the play development process.

Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne and the artistic ensemble announce their 2013-2014, season of Big Stories, Up Close. In its award-winning and audience-acclaimed style, Lifeline's thirty-first season will feature six unforgettable books brought to life: sprawling, classic stories as well as thrilling contemporary titles, as Lifeline retains its reputation for fresh, imaginative interpretations of beloved favorites and embraces the challenges of new, thought-provoking works. Additionally, Lifeline Theatre will produce the seventeenth annual Fillet of Solo Festival and the Georgette Heyer Reading Series.

The Lifeline Storytelling Project (LSP) produces monthly live music & storytelling events designed to develop and showcase young artists affiliated with Lifeline Theatre. Since its creation in 2011 by Lifeline Theatre Artistic DirectorDorothy Milne, LSP has sought to play an active part in the growth of the Chicago storytelling and Live Lit scene. LSP members participate in ongoing writing workshops, share their true stories in Rogers Park venues for an ever-growing audience of fans and friends, and take part in the annual Fillet of Solo Festival (hosted by Lifeline Theatre since 2010). To accommodate extraordinary ticket demand, Lifeline Theatre will add four additional performances to the run of its family musical, The Emperor's New Threads: A Fashion Statement, based on the folktale The Emperor's New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen. The additional performances are Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
