American Repertory Ballet will perform in New Jersey Performing Arts Center's second annual Jersey Moves! Festival of Dance. The performance will be tonight, April 27, 2013 at 7:30pm at NJPAC's Victoria Theater. ARB will be performing Gerald Arpino's Viva Vivaldi. This charming, virtuosic work in the classical ballet vocabulary will share the stage with Irish dance presented by Timothy Kochka and The Davis Academy, Indian dance by Bani Ray and her dancers, tap by New Jersey Tap Ensemble, and contemporary dance by Dance Tactics and Nimbus Dance Works.

Rose Caiola, Stuart Coleman, Julia Gruen, Heather Watts, Christopher Wheeldon and producers Erin Fogarty and Daniel Ulbricht present the third annual Dance Against Cancer on Monday, May 6, 2013 with cocktails at 6pm (VIP ticket only), a performance at 7pm, and a reception at 8:30pm at the AXA Equitable Theater, 787 Seventh Avenue (between 51st and 52nd Streets), NYC. Tickets are $150 ($300 for VIP) and are available at dacny.org.

The Seattle Theatre Group, (STG) has announced the upcoming 2013-2014 season, with a fair amount of focus on performances taking place at a revitalized Moore Theatre. History has been made at The Moore and the future is about to get a bit brighter. This season offers a great opportunity for renewing a relationship with the oldest operating theatre in the city. STG is making transformative improvements that will significantly expand comfort and dramatically increase the ability for smaller, more 'off-Broadway' style productions, including those produced by local theatre companies, to take place at The Moore.

The Westside Center for Independent Living (WCIL) Associates raised $30,000 at a Sold Out fundraising event held on Friday, April 19th both at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion where guests enjoyed a performance of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater said Jenn Steip, Development Director for WCIL. The performance was part of the series Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center celebrating the 55th Anniversary of the critically acclaimed dance company.

Devon Carney, Associate Artistic Director of the Cincinnati Ballet, and Yves de Bouteiller, former principal dancer of the Milwaukee Ballet and Ballet du Nord, will be on the faculty for the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet's Summer Intensive from July 22-26, 2013 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Maria Youskevitch, longtime faculty member at Princeton Ballet School, is one of this year's American Repertory Ballet Gala Honorees, and is the recipient of this year's Audree Estey Award for Excellence in Dance Education. Daughter of one of the leading dancers of the 20th century, Igor Youskevitch, Ms. Youskevitch brings a strong background in and deep knowledge of ballet to her students. She teaches for a variety of levels and, every year, re-stages a full-length classical ballet on Princeton Ballet School students for the School's Spring Production. She has also served as Rehearsal Director for American Repertory Ballet, the professional company associated with Princeton Ballet School, on several occasions.

Rosie's Theater Kids (RTKids) will present "Passing It On: An Evening of Mentorship"to Benefit Rosie's Theater Kids at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater on April 23, 2013 at 7pm. This year's event will honor RTKids Board member and mentor Rosemary Kalikow, whose tremendous support and dedication has helped everyone at RTKids.

Tony Award winner Corey Brunish announces the release of his first self-titled CD 'Corey Brunish As Time Goes By.' The CD features standards from the musicals 'Chicago', 'Roberta', 'Shall We Dance' and the movies 'Casablanca' and 'Working Girl.'

PHILADANCO returns to the Kimmel Center for Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, today, April 19-21, 2013. In keeping with PIFA's theme, Where In Time Would You Like To Be, PHILADANCO is excited to debut Christopher Huggins' newly commissioned ballet, 'The Big Bang.'

Stephen Sondheim and Wynton Marsalis will collaborate on A BED AND A CHAIR: A New York Love Story, a new musical event featuring Sondheim's music arranged and performed by the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, announced Arlene Shuler, President & CEO of New York City Center. This Encores! Special Event, directed by frequent Sondheim collaborator John Doyle, and conceived by Peter Gethers, Jack Viertel and John Doyle, will run for seven performances, November 13 - 17 at City Center. City Center's annual Gala Benefit will take place on Thursday, November 14 and will include a post-performance dinner at the Plaza Hotel.

Dr. Rennie Harris, Alvin Ailey Award recipient and renowned choreographer, returns to the New Victory stage (Legends of Hip-Hop, New Vic 2004, 2006; Puremovement, New Vic 1999) to inspire the next generation of hip-hoppers with Rennie Harris Awe-Inspiring Works-RHAW. Featuring a hip-hop dance theater company of talented young dancers, RHAW delivers straight- up Philly soul and fresh spins on classic street dance styles, creating depictions of city life and young love. Rennie Harris' RHAW, will run at The New Victory Theater, 209 West 42nd Street from May 17 through 26.

Tickets go on sale today for New York City Center Encores! Off-Center, a new series featuring seminal Off-Broadway musicals filtered through the lens of today's most innovative artists, opening on July 10. In keeping with City Center's founding mission to make the arts accessible to all, the majority of tickets will be $25.

Christine Baranski, Kelli Barrett, Walter Bobbie, Jeremy Cohen, Dalton Harrod, Randy Skinner, Shonn Wiley, Karen Ziemba,New York City Ballet Principaldancer Joaquin De Luz and American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Irina Dvorovenkowill star in Rodgers and Hart's On Your Toes, the final Encores! presentation of the 2012-13 New York City Center season. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, On Your Toes will have guest music direction by Encores! founding music director Rob Fisher and will play seven performances, from May 8 - 12 at New York City Center, W. 55th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). The "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" ballet, originally choreographed by George Balanchine, will be staged by Susan Pilarre, who served as a Ballet Mistress of the show's 1983 Broadway Revival.

Les Ballet Trockadero De Monte Carlo performed at New Jersey Performing Arts Center for one show only on Sunday, April 7th. The audience was delighted with the company's talents and antics.

Brains, spirited beauty and dancing feet, that's what Barnard women are made of. And the choreographers commissioned to create new works for them - Faye Driscoll, Bill Young, Francesca Harper and Heidi Henderson - for two days of performances at the Miller Theatre, tonight, April 12 and tomorrow, April 13, take full advantage of their gifts. New York Live Arts announces the 2013 Theater Access Program - a comprehensive rental program that provides performance space and resources to a diverse group of self-producing artists of all disciplines. This year's artists include (in order of appearance) 10 Hairy Legs, Ellen Robbins, NuMoRune Collaborative, Makeda Thomas, Elisa Monte Dance and Jennifer Muller/The Works, Amanda Selwyn Dance Theatre and Joseph Mills for Modern American Dance Company.
