PHILADANCO returns to the Kimmel Center for Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, today, April 19-21, 2013. In keeping with PIFA's theme, Where In Time Would You Like To Be, PHILADANCO is excited to debut Christopher Huggins' newly commissioned ballet, "The Big Bang."

PHILADANCO followers know of Huggins' long association with the company and his many inventive and exciting ballets--this will surely be another.

PHILADANCO will also remount one of its earliest works, "Time/Space," choreographed by the late Harold Pierson. Along with the presentation of this ballet, former company members who helped reconstruct this work from the '70s will do a "talk-back" with the audience following the opening night performance, which will focus on their lives since they were members of the company. Several of these dancers spent 10 or more years with the Alvin Ailey company, and others went on to interesting careers.

PHILADANCO's annual spring concerts will include evening and matinee performances from April 19 to 21. For ticket information, call the Kimmel Box Office at 215-893-1999 or visit kimmelcenter.org.
