Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 25thAnniversary production of A Musical Christmas Carol, this December at the Byham Theater.

Atlanta's Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre has announced the cast and creative team behind its upcoming world premiere musical, Troubadour, by playwright Janece Shaffer (The Geller Girls, Broke) with original music by Grammy Award-winning recording artist Kristian Bush.

Yale Repertory Theatre presents August Wilson's SEVEN GUITARS, directed by Timothy Douglas, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street) November 25 through December 17. Opening Night is Thursday, December 1.

New Freedom Theatre is pleased to announce the appointment of Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj as its new Artistic Director.  Maharaj, who had served as Guest Artistic Director last season, is only the fourth full-time artistic director in the company's fifty year history, following foundr John E. Theatre, like most things in life, can become the subject of repetition and become very boring. MOBY DICK at the Alliance Theatre is not an example of this, however. Starting in Chicago at the Tony Award-winning Lookingglass Theatre, this innovative, artistic work of art is not quite what you would expect. Director David Catlin adapted the piece initially with Lookingglass Theatre and The Actors Gymnasium.

The Lyric Stage Company of Boston has announced the cast & creative team for its upcoming productionof WARRIOR CLASS by Kenneth Lin (writer, House of Cards), directed by Dawn M. Simmons. Performances are October 21 - November 13, 2016.

The Woodruff Arts Center announces the unveiling of its second public piano, provided by Play Me Again Pianos, which will take place in a public celebration on Callaway Plaza on Sunday, October 16, at 2 PM.
