This summer, Burrell will play the audacious preacher's wife, Mabel, in DEG's production of 'Crowns.' Due to unforeseen personal circumstances, Williams is unable to continue.The production now runs at Soho Rep. June 2 - July 8, with opening now set for Sunday, June 17.

The 10th Annual Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards - Shuler Hensley Awards - were held in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on April 19. Two of the evening's award winners, Parker Jennings and Laughton Berry, will go on to compete with young performers from across the country for the coveted Jimmy Award as well as scholarships and professional opportunities. They are heading to New York to participate at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, taking place at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway, at 7:30 pm on June 25, 2018.
