Lincoln Center Theater's new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos opened just last night at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street), where it runs for 14 weeks only . Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, continued its 11th Season with its 116th concert presentation: a double bill featuring Harley Granville-Barker's Farewell to the Theatre and George Bernard Shaw's Interlude at the Playhouse on September 19 at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre. Local dignitaries, elected officials and Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) supporters gathered by the river and participated in a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Tony Award-winning Broadway producers who now manage the Playhouse -- Alexander Fraser, Producing Director ('Kinky Boots', 'The Normal Heart') and Robyn Goodman, Executive Producer ('Avenue Q', 'In the Heights'). NiCori Studios and Productions announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, 'Music at the Mansion', on Sunday, August 28, at 3pm at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center in Bloomfield, NJ.  Performers include Lauren Stanford, Sean Harkness and Marieann Meringolo.  The Young Musician Moment will be Alex DiFilippo.

Charles Busch and members of the original cast of his hit play, THE DIVINE SISTER will go back in the habit at Bucks County Playhouse for a limited run of the play July 22 through August 13. The official opening night is July 23. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the stars in character below!

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents and marketing professionals, presented the 6th annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards on June 21st at Sardi's, honoring outstanding achievement in Off Broadway theatre for the 2015 - 2016 season. Honorees were on hand to receive their awards and Anne Jackson & Eli Wallach, Anne Meara, and Elizabeth Swados were posthumously inducted into the Off Broadway Hall of Fame. Red Bull Theater today announced that William Congreve's THE WAY OF THE WORLD, directed by Mr. Berger, will feature two time Tony Award nominee Alison Fraser along with Jacob Dresch, Francesca Faridany, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Christopher Innvar, Amelia Pedlow, Robert Petkoff, Liv Rooth, Jeanine Serralles, Dina Thomas, CJ Wilson, Nathan Winkelstein and more.  Red Bull Theater's latest Revelation Readings takes place tonight, Monday June 27th, at Lucille Lortel Theatre.  Tonight's performance is SOLD OUT, but Standby Tickets may be available at the door. ?Rhinebeck Writers Retreat is presenting a reading of the new musical, INTO THE WILD, book and lyrics by Janet Allard and music and lyrics by Niko Tsakalakos, on June 13 in New York City for an invited industry audience. INTO THE WILD is based on the acclaimed best selling book by Jon Krakauer and "Back to the Wild" by the Christopher J. McCandless Foundation.

Signature Theatre has announced a one week extension for Signature Plays, which revisits the work of three Legacy playwrights with Edward Albee's The Sandbox, Maria Irene Fornes' Drowning, and Adrienne Kennedy's Funnyhouse of a Negro. Directed by Lila Neugebauer (A.R. Gurney's The Wayside Motor Inn), this trio of plays, all produced during their author's original Playwright-in-Residence season and presented together for the first time, celebrates Signature's rich and diverse history over the past quarter century.
