Raven Theatre Company, which will turn 35 years old in March of 2018, announced today that its upcoming 2017-18 season will give Chicago audiences their first looks at plays by three of America's most acclaimed young playwrights.
Director Onur Tukel's CATFIGHT opens March 3rd in select theaters. The film stars Sandra Oh, Anne Heche, Alicia Silverstone, Amy Hill, Myra Lucretia Taylor, Ariel Kavoussi, Craig Bierko, and Dylan Baker.
South Coast Repertory will produce the world premiere of The Siegel by Michael Mitnick (March 24-April 23, Segerstrom Stage). The cast is led by Ben Feldman and Mamie Gummer and features Amy Aquino, Matthew Arkin, Devon Sorvari andDominique Worsley. The Siegel, directed by Casey Stangl, is part of the Pacific Playwrights Festival, the theatre's annual new-play showcase. Tickets are available at www.scr.org.
