Blackbird will make its US Premiere at Location One, 26 Greene Street, New York, NY, running April 16-28, 2013, Tuesday-Sunday at 8PM with 3PM Sun. matinees.

Award-winning Schmuck Theatre announces the New York premiere of BLACKBIRD. Performances begin April 16 and run through April 28, 2013, Tuesday-Sunday at 8PM with 3PM Saturday and Sunday Matinees. All performances take place at Location One, 26 Greene Street, NYC.

Matthew Paul Olmos' 'so go the ghosts of mexico, part one' -- selected by Sam Shepard as the inaugural play to be presented under the auspices of the first-ever Ellen Stewart Award -- will be given its world-premiere production by La MaMa (74 E. 4 St.) with preview performances starting April 11 prior to its official press opening on April 14, it has been announced by La MaMa artistic director Mia Yoo.

The OBIE Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) -- now in its 23rd season of presenting classics and new works performed by Asian American actors -- will present August Strindberg's A DREAM PLAY in a new adaptation by Sung Rno and Andrew Pang, directed by Mr. Pang, with previews set to begin March 22 prior to an official opening night of March 27 at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue (entrance on Dominick, 1 Block South of Spring).
