The Roy Rogers Family Entertainment Corporation, Happy Trails, LLC and the Spangler Group have announced that they will produce a new Broadway musical inspired by the life and music of the iconic Roy Rogers. Academy, Tony and Olivier Award-winning screenwriter and playwright Marshall Brickman (Jersey Boys, Annie Hall) is leading the creative team. The musical is aiming to begin previews in late 2014 for an early 2015 opening night.

This will be a chance for fans to catch up with the Lambert family and their demons, before INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2 hits theaters on September 13.

This season will run in The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts' intimate Zilkha Hall and feature innovative modern works. According to Bruce Lumpkin, the intended audience for this line up is "a contemporary minded audience, an audience looking for something new, something different than what's been offered." The inaugural season for TUTS Underground will feature four fresh shows that are "not only new, newly done, but newly done for our audiences here."

GIBSON GUITARTOWN ON THE SUNSET STRIP is set to unveil its third installment of art guitars on Wednesday, July 17 at aspecial VIP reception at Hornburg Land Rover on The Sunset Strip. The public art exhibit features 10-foot tall art guitar sculptures celebrating artists and musicians who have influenced The Sunset Strip. The current selection includes works celebrating 2013 Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) honoree Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Love, ZZ Top, Alice Cooper and Debbie Harry.
