Previews are now underway at Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) for the New York premiere of Our House, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (The Butterfly Collection and Bad Dates at Playwrights Horizons, Broadway's Mauritius, co-author of Omnium Gatherum). A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

The Drama League (Jano Herbosch, President) is pleased to announce that Jeremy Irons (Broadway's Impressionism) and Cynthia Nixon (Off-Broadway's Distracted at the Roundabout Theatre Company), who first starred together as father and daughter in the 1984 Broadway production of The Real Thing, will reunite this spring to serve as co-hosts for The 75th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon.

Under the direction of the Village Players Theatre?s Artist Director, Carl O?cchipinti, this charming play tells the story of the relationship between an elderly Southern Jewish widow and her African-American chauffeur. Over their twenty five years together, spanning 1948-1973, their friendship evolves as they face aging and complex social issues of the time. Written by Alfred Uhry, he won the 1988 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the work.
