The Last Night of Ballyhoo, by Alfred Uhry and directed by Steve Garfinkel, will take the stage at the Main Street Theater ? Rice Village, 2540 Times Blvd., Houston, TX 77005. The show will run from November 12 ? December 13, 2009, with previews November 7, 8, and 11. There will be no performance November 13. Performances will be held Thursdays at 7:30pm; Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00pm; Sundays at 3:00pm.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) and 92YTribeca have announced that they will present 'NEW PLAYS, TOUGH TIMES' at 92YTribeca (200 Hudson Street) on Thursday evening, September 10 at 7:30 PM. Moderated by Time Out New York's Theater editor and chief drama critic David Cote, the panel discussion will feature all eight writers from Playwrights Horizons' upcoming 2009/2010 Season.

Parker Posey Withdraws From Playwrights Horizons' THIS Due To Lyme Disease

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) announced today that Parker Posey has had to withdraw from the cast of THIS, a new play by Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson (Suitcase, [sic]), due to developing a case of Lyme Disease. A replacement actress for the lead role of Jane will be announced shortly.

'Parade,' which features T.R. Knight playing the historical figure Leo Frank and Lara Pulver reprising her role as his wife, Lucille Frank, started rehearsals this week. The Center Theatre Group's presentation of the Donmar Warehouse production begins previews September 24, 2009, and will open at the Mark Taper Forum on October 4. Performances continue through November 15.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) is now accepting entries for its popular LIVEforFIVE online lottery for $5 tickets to its next production, the World Premiere of THE RETRIBUTIONISTS, a new play by Daniel Goldfarb (Modern Orthodox, Adam Baum and the Jew Movie, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me). At least 50 tickets will be available via the online lottery.

T.R. Knight has confirmed his next project; the 'Grey's Anatomy' actor will star in PARADE at the Mark Taper Forum. The production is based on the 2007 London production, which appeared at the famed Donmar Warehouse. Knight will star as Leo Frank in the Jason Robert Brown-Alfred Uhry masterpiece.

Northwestern University's Dolphin Show, America?s largest student-produced musical, is proud to announce its 68th annual production, Parade, a powerful, daring musical from the minds of Jason Robert Brown, Alfred Uhry, and Harold Prince. This year's Dolphin Show will be directed by School of Communication rising senior, Scott G. Weinstein and will open on January 22, 2010 in Cahn Auditorium at Northwestern?s Evanston campus.
