Skyline Theatre Company (STC) is extremely pleased to announce that Emmy winner and Broadway veteran Elaine Bromka is starring in their upcoming production of Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize winning play Driving Miss Daisy, May 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th at the Fair Lawn Community Center in Fair Lawn.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) are pleased to announce four productions for Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2010-2011 theatrical season.

Legacy Theatre's next mainstage production will be ANNIE playing from July 9 through August 1, 2010 with book by Thomas Meehan, Music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin. This production will conclude the 2009-2010 season.

On May 22, Anthony Chisholm, Jasmine Guy, Samuel L. Jackson, Audra McDonald, and Phylicia Rashad will be participating in Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company Celebrity Golf Tournament & Gala. The event will also feature a gala party in a private Buckhead home for an evening of fine dining and entertainment. Tickets start at $200. Lyric Theatre, Oklahoma's premiere professional theatre company, concludes the 2010 'Lyric at the Plaza' season with DRIVING MISS DAISY, playing live at the Plaza Theatre this April 15 through 25. Alfred Uhry's Pulitzer Prize winning play takes place in the deep South in 1948 and tells the story of Daisy Werthan, a rich and sharp-tongued Jewish widow who must rely on the services of a chauffeur, a thoughtful, soft-spoken black man named Hoke. In a series of scenes spanning 25 years, the two grow close and develop a unique friendship despite their mutual differences.

The Legacy Theatre's Children's Series will wrap up with MISS NELSON IS MISSING based off the Miss Nelson books by Henry Allard and James Marshall. The book, music, and lyrics are by Joan Cushing. MISS NELSON IS MISSING will play from April 20 through May 7.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today that seven plays will be developed at the 2010 National Playwrights Conference under the leadership of artistic director Wendy C. Goldberg. The selected playwrights will spend the month of July at the O'Neill's Waterford, Connecticut campus developing and presenting staged readings of their work during the NPC's 46th season. Box office and online ticket sales open Wednesday, June 9; advance ticket sales will be available to O'Neill Members beginning Monday, May 17.

American Stage Theatre Company has added an additional performance at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 18 of Alfred Uhry's new classic, DRIVING MISS DAISY. This performance will be in addition to the regularly scheduled 3 p.m. performance on Sunday, April 18. There is no performance of DRIVING MISS DAISY on Friday, April 16.
