CSI's William Petersen Boards WGN America's MANHATTAN

WGN America announced today that William Petersen ('CSI: Crime Scene Investigation') has joined the cast of its critically acclaimed drama 'Manhattan,' marking his return to television after his celebrated Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated 10-year run as Dr. Gilbert 'Gil' Grissom in the hit series 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.' Produced by Lionsgate Television, Skydance Television and Tribune Studios, 'Manhattan' will begin production on its second season in New Mexico in April for a 2015 debut on WGN America.

WGN America's MANHATTAN Wins SXSW Jury Award for Excellence in Title Design

WGN America's critically acclaimed drama 'Manhattan' won the 2015 SXSW Jury Award for Excellence in Title Design, besting 22 other film and television finalists, including 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' (Marvel Studios), 'American Horror Story 4: Freakshow' (FX), 'Godzilla' (Warner Bros.), '22 Jump Street' (Columbia Pictures) and 'The Leftovers' (HBO). Moffatt Oxenbould's (Director) staging of MADAMA BUTTERFLY is revived by Matthew Barclay (Revival Director) to share this doomed love story with new audiences. Whilst other operas presented by Opera Australia in their 2015 season have been re-imaginings, changing locations and eras, MADAMA BUTTERFLY has been left in its early 1900's time-period and house on a hill in Nagasaki setting.

To mark the Centenary of Arthur Miller's birth and the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, Richard Beecham will direct a revival of Miller'sPlaying for Time in the Crucible. Beecham directs Kate Adams (Helene), Noa Bodner (Esther), Pascale Burgess (Elzvieta), Imogen Daines (Etalina),Emma Darlow (Liesl), Holly De Jong (Schmidt), James Duke (Mengele / Kapo / Cellist / Paul), Amanda Hadingue (Alma Rose), Melanie Heslop(Marianne), Rebecca Jenkins (Varya), Kate Lynn-Evans (Mandel), Maeve O'Sullivan (Greta / Olga), Sian Phillips (Fania), Danny Scheinmann (Schmuel / Captain Heinz / Second Chess Player / First Trooper), Augustina Seymour (Paulette/ Music Captain), Christopher Staines (Commandant Kramer / 1st Chess Player / SS Guard / Kapo / Pianist) and Alexia Traverse-Healy (Mala / Tchaikowska). Completing the cast are 17 members of Sheffield People's Theatre - the theatre's intergenerational acting company from across the region.

Nic Rouleau & Brian Sears Will Join the Cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON in London

From 2nd February 2015, the cast of the Olivier Award-winning The Book of Mormon will be led by Nic Rouleau as Elder Price and Brian Sears as Elder Cunningham, who join continuing cast members Alexia Khadime, Stephen Ashfield, Hugo Harold-Harrison, and Chris Jarman at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London.

CAFE SOCIETY SWING Set for 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of CAFE SOCIETY SWING, written by Alex Webb and directed by Simon Green. Produced by Richard Darbourne Ltd (producer of last season's Drama League nominated All That Fall) and The Copasetic Foundation, CAFE SOCIETY SWING begins performances on Tuesday, December 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4. Opening Night is Sunday, December 21 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7 PM; Friday at 8 PM; Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM; Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM.
