7.30pm on May 7th (Election Night) & May 8th (Not Election Night!) at The Friends Meeting House see one of only two performances of Love Lies & Lyrics by Lesley Ross, an intimate portrayal of the life of a lyricist, as the man himself and his cast of West End singers takes you through twenty years of musical mayhem: song, stories and a sprinkling of sparkly drag!

It's now being brought back to its traditional European roots - of British Music hall and continental Cabaret - in a new musical touring the UK this summer. Miss Nightingale - the burlesque musical tells a gripping story of sex, scandal and showbiz in war-torn 1940s London. It is at London's Leicester Square Theatre from Tue 2 - Sun 7 July. The show stars British-born international burlesque performer, Amber Topaz.
