His album Hero (on Broadway Records) came out in March; an SRO show soon followed at Steve Walter's Cutting Room and last night Tyce and his band kicked off a six-date East Coast tour and delivered just an impressive rendering of his album.
Broadway Records' Tyce plays tomorrow night at The Metropolitan Room in NYC and we were invited to his rehearsal today a tmidtown's Funkadelic Studios.
Every so often a new artist comes along with a debut album that not only raises eyebrows, but curiosity in that the songs are so perfectly matched with the talent.
