Off-Broadway's longest-running, smash hit musical comedy celebrating the triumphs and trials of the modern-day mating game I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE takes the stage at The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire June 5, opening June 12 and running through August 11. The witty script and lyrics by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts showcase a dizzying spectrum of male/female relationships as four actors journey through a hilarious series of vignettes which cleverly explore the trials and tribulations of single life, dating, marriage, loss and heartbreak. The laugh-inducing, award-winning production will be directed and choreographed by Matt Raftery.

The producers of the hit Off-Broadway show OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES have announced that the upcoming engagement at Chicago's Royal George Theatre will feature a quintet of familiar (and not-so-old) faces: Dara Cameron, Alex Goodrich, Tim Kazurinsky, Renee Matthews and Gene Weygandt. OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES begins performances on the Main Stage of the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted Street, Tuesday, September 24, and officially opens Wednesday, October 2, at 7:30p.m.

Next Theatre Company is proud to announce a two-week extension of Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything is Illuminated, adapted by Simon Block and directed by Devon de Mayo, at Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes Street. The production's final performance is now Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m.

Previews are Thursday, Feb, 21 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Feb.22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Opening night is Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There are Saturday 4 p.m. performances March 9, 16, 23 and 30. Due to the Next Theatre Company's Annual Gala, there will be no public performance Sunday, March 3. For information on the Gala, please call 847-475-1875. The gala 44th Annual Jeff Equity Awards ceremony honoring excellence in professional theatre produced within the immediate Chicago area was held on Monday, October 15, at Drury Lane Oakbrook.

Chicago Children's Theatre (CCT) and Artistic Director Jacqueline Russell open the season with the Chicago premiere of a new musical version of Harold and the Purple Crayon, based on the beloved children's books by Crockett Johnson, directed by top Chicago director Sean Graney. Itinerant no longer, Chicago Children's Theatre (CCT) and Artistic Director Jacqueline Russell are looking forward to welcoming family audiences this fall to the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn St., Chicago - CCT's first permanent home in the company's seven-year history. The Jeff Awards Committee announced 197 nominations in 34 categories for Chicago Equity theatrical productions, which opened between August 1, 2011, and July 31, 2012. The Jeff Awards judges attended opening nights of 118 Equity productions offered by 55 producing organizations. From these openings, 96 productions were 'Jeff Recommended,' which made them eligible for award nominations.
