A 1950s Ealing comedy probably wouldn't be your first port of call when trying to think of a timely film to adapt for the stage, whilst also giving people an opportunity for a much-needed laugh. However, The Man in the White Suit has managed it in one perfect package. Sean Foley has adapted and directed this stage production, which has now opened on the West End following a short run at Theatre Royal Bath.

The production recently embarked on a three week engagement at Theatre Royal Bath before its world premiere at the Wyndham's Theatre, London, with performances from 27th September 2019 until 11th January 2020 and opening night on 8th October 2019.

Colm Feore will utter the first words on the Stratford Festival's newest stage, an echo of the inaugural performance in 1953, when Alec Guinness's opening speech in Richard III anticipated the a?oeglorious summera?? that was to come for Stratford. Raleigh Little Theatre presents the first local production of the musical comedy, which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2014. "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder" was written by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak and runs from August 16 - September 1 in the Sutton Theatre. RLT's production will be directed by Patrick Torres, who will celebrate his fifth anniversary at the theater this August.

The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HK Phil) will present the Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert featuring screenings of the complete films with Oscar-winning composer John Williams' musical scores performed live to the films. The concert will be led by acclaimed conductor Benjamin Northey. Experience the Force at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Concert Hall on 4 to 6 July. The producers of Sean Foley's hotly anticipated stage adaptation of classic Ealing Studios comedy The Man in the White Suit are delighted to announce that Sue Johnston (The Royle Family, Brookside, Coronation Street) will join the cast for a strictly limited engagement. The British Comedy Award-winning actress will play 'Mrs Watson' from 5th September for three weeks at Theatre Royal Bath prior to nine weeks at the Wyndham's Theatre from 26th September. The world premiere production will then continue its engagement in the West End until 11th January 2020 with further casting to be announced.

Jedis will flock to witness "Star Wars: A New Hope" in Concert on May 9 and 13 at 7 PM with an already nearly sold out performance on Saturday May 11. The famous, Oscar-winning score by John Williams, performed by Utah Symphony, will be paired with the full-length motion picture film on the big screen at Abravanel Hall. Producers today announced that a stage adaptation by Sean Foley of the classic Ealing Studios comedy The Man in the White Suit, will play a three week season at Theatre Royal Bath, prior to receiving its world premiere at Wyndhams Theatre in preview from September 26th with an opening night of October 8th. The production will be directed by Sean Foley and will star Stephen Mangan as Sidney Stratton and Kara Tointon as Daphne Birnley. Set and costume design will be by Michael Taylor.

A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which took the 2014 Tony Awards by storm with 10 nominations - winning four, including Best Musical, will play in the Marian Theatre April 25 through May 12 and in the Solvang Festival Theater June 13 - 30.
