Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announces the 25th Annual Summer Gala, celebrating Bay Street's Silver Anniversary to take place in Sag Harbor on the Long Wharf on July 9, 2016 benefiting Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs. NYU Tisch School of the Arts today announced its alumni honorees for its 50th Anniversary Gala, Celebrating the Past/Creating the Future, to be held on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall. The gala event will be hosted by alumni Alec Baldwin ('94) and Spike Lee ('82).

Longtime Fundamental Theater Project supporter Alec Baldwin has purchased a significant number of tickets to FTP's annual fundraising event, which this year features Aidan Quinn, Patrick Breen, Julia Murney, Valorie Curry and FTP's artistic director Sam Underwood in two back-to-back staged readings at Symphony Space this Sunday, March 6th, starting at 3 pm.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company hosted the 50th Anniversary Gala: 'Spring Gala 2016: Celebrating 50 Years of Extraordinary Theatre' in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria (301 Park Avenue, NYC). ? On March 26, the Philly POPS presents celebrated actor Tony Lo Bianco in his five-time Emmy Award winning, one-man Broadway show, The Little Flower at Prince Theater. In the play that Lo Bianco wrote, directed and stars in, he portrays Fiorello H. La Guardia on his last day in 1945 as mayor of New York City.

Aidan Quinn (Michael Collins, Practical Magic, Legends of the Fall, Broadway's A Streetcar Named Desire, and currently appearing in CBS' Elementary) joins Patrick Breen (Madam Secretary, The Normal Heart), Julia Murney (Wicked, The Wild Party), Valorie Curry (The Following, Twilight, American Pastoral), Sam Underwood (Dexter, Homeland, The Following) and Fundamental Theater Project in celebration of their honorary patron, Sir Peter Shaffer (Equus, Amadeus, Royal Hunt of the Sun) and in support of their mission of fostering emerging voices in the theater.

The Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) is pleased to announce that Kimberly Faith Hickman has accepted the position of artistic director of the Playhouse. Hickman will begin at OCP full time on June 1, 2016 and is filling the position upon the dismissal of OCP's most recent Artistic Director Hilary Adams. Susan Baer Collins, former OCP associate artistic director, has been acting as interim artistic director since last December and she will work with Hickman in the transition.

CONAN O'BRIEN, Emmy award-winning comedian and late night talk show host, will take the stage as host of NFL HONORS tonight, Feb. 6.

Scripps Ranch Theatre announced the inaugural year of their New Works Studio as well as 2016 participating playwrights. The first collaborative meeting will take place Sunday, February 7th.
