Jayne Houdyshell and Reed Birney play husband and wife onstage- Erik and Deirdre Blake in Stephen Karam's The Humans. In 'Radio Mystery 1949 ' by Dennis Richard, a post-WWII radio murder mystery is outdone by real-life drama when a mysterious actor carries what may or may not be a bomb into a sound stage during a live performance. The nail-biting production is directed by Richmond Shepard. Clarion Theatre, John P. Greene and Fae Simmons will present the piece tonight, September 15 to 26 at the Clarion Theatre, 309 East 26th Street, Manhattan.

Ten playwrights have won the New York Community Trust Helen Merrill Playwright Awards, honoring established and emerging writers for the theater. The winners are currently producing work on topics ranging from basement dwelling families in the middle of the 21st century to the 19th century all-black community that faced destruction in order to create Central Park.

Starring David Beck, Nairoby Otero, and Maneesh Sasikumar, this limited Off-Broadway engagement opens tonight, February 12. Performances continue through February 28th, 2015 only.
