As previously reported on BroadwayWorld, Ireland's Abbey Theatre will present Ibsen's JOHN GABRIEL BORKMAN from October 6 to November 20 in a production starring Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, and Lindsay Duncan. The Theatre's official website has now announced that the production will be brought to New York in January 2011. A New York venue has yet to be announced.

In 2003, 23-year-old American Rachel Corrie was crushed to death by an Israeli Defense Forces bulldozer in the Gaza strip.
