'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund. On December 14, 2012, tragedy struck Sandy Hook Elementary School and our nation mourned with the residents of Newtown, Connecticut. As the town slowly attempts to recover, Broadway stars, producers, writers, and directors will lend their voices in support. 'From Broadway with Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place on January 28, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT, 20 minutes from Newtown.

Harbor Lights Theater's THE KING AND I Opens Tonight, 11/3

Due to the fact that the NYC Parks Department is closing all city parks on Sunday evening at 7:00pm and keeping them closed through Monday night which includes Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, The Harbor Lights Theater Company's production of the King and I finally opens tonight, Saturday, November 3 at 8 pm rather than Friday, November 2.

Harbor Lights Theater's THE KING AND I Moves Opening Night to Nov 3 Due to Hurricane Sandy

On Monday, May 14, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present Telly Leung, one of the stars of Godspell, in 'Playlist.' The show, directed by Alan Muraoka with musical direction by Gary Adler, celebrated Telly's own playlist of favorite songs that have inspired him through the years. The band included Michael Croiter on drums and Mary Ann McSweeney on bass.
