Theater at Monmouth's summer Family Show opens June 22 at 7 p.m. with a world premiere production of Margery Williams' The Velveteen Rabbit. Adapted by Dawn McAndrews, Velveteen Rabbit tells the story of a toy Rabbit, given as a gift to a young Boy, who yearns for the day the Boy will choose her so that she can become real.

The Arc Theatre expands from three successful years in residence at 'Shakespeare on the Ridge' in Evanston to present the first show of its inaugural full season. The Arc's Oedipus Rex will be performed at the Chemically Imbalanced Theatre, 1422 Irving Park Rd, tonight, February 14th through March 9th, 2013, Today, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm.

The Arc Theatre expands from three successful years in residence at "Shakespeare on the Ridge" in Evanston to present the first show of its inaugural full season.
