?Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the humorous and poignant "Painting Churches" by Tina Howe, on Monday, February 9, at 7 p.m. A Connecticut theatrical family - Jack Gilpin, his wife Ann McDonough, and their daughter Betty Gilpin, who currently is a leading character in television's "Nurse Jackie" - are cast members. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

Enduring Arizona Theatre Company's current production of Murder for Two is like watching two cute hamsters incessantly rolling on a wheel, keeping pace with its speed but going nowhere fast. It's curious, but, in the end, unsatisfying. While Joe Kinosian and Ian Lowe make a great team and are, each in his own way, versatile and immensely talented performers, this murder mystery musical whodunnit s laborious.
Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap will continue its record-breaking, and first ever, UK tour into 2015. The beloved murder mystery will begin the 2015 leg of its tour at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen on 28 April. The show will then visit 25 venues across the UK including a September 1-5 return visit to The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury where the record-breaking tour began in September 2012.
