French movie lovers get ready as TV5MONDE USA is kicking off its summer lineup with a variety of powerful crime dramas! The lineup includes: Le viol(starring César award-winning actress Romane Bohringer and Oscar award-winning actor Sam Karmann), Les crimes silencieux (starring César nominated actors Richard Berry and Valérie Kaprisky) and Crime dans les alpilles (starring César nominated actress Florence Pernel). All of these programs and more of TV5MONDE USA's films, TV series and specials are now available for viewers to live stream on Sling TV and Comcast Xfinity X1 and the Xfinity Stream TV app and portal on mobile devices, computers, and Roku devices in the home. Urban Movie Channel (UMC), the first subscription video on demand service (SVOD) created for African American and urban audiences, is now available to Comcast's Xfinity TV customers across the country. A subsidiary of RLJ Entertainment (RLJE), UMC's launch on Xfinity TV marks the first time the SVOD service has been made available on an MVPD set-top box. Featuring top programming in Black film and television, UMC is accessible in the home through Xfinity On Demand and on the go via the Xfinity Stream app and portal. Xfinity TV customers with X1 can use their voice remote and say 'Urban Movie Channel' to pull up the offering, or they'll be able to find it within the Black Film and TV section of Xfinity On Demand. UMC costs $4.99 per month.

Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema announced today its film lineup of 110 films and the news that Regal Entertainment Group has signed on to become the lead sponsor for the 2nd annual 10-day event in Queens. While the festival organizers are saddened to leave the Kew Gardens Cinemas in Kew Gardens, they are very excited for what this means for the future of the film festival. For it's sophomore year, Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema will be moving into its new home at Regal Entertainment Group's UA Midway Stadium 9 in Forest Hills, Queens. From August 3rd to August 11th guests can enjoy films exhibited by state of the art projection and sound equipment in the comfort of Midway's recliner seats. The Opening Night Film at the Midway will be the New York Premiere of Ari Gold's award-winning and critically acclaimed “The Song of Sway Lake” starring Rory Culkin on Friday, Aug. 3rd at 6:30pm. On Sunday, August 12th, the festival's Awards Dinner Gala returns to Terrace on the Park in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.

With combined gross revenue from sponsorships and ticket sales, this year's Lawyer Play - The Rule of Three by Agatha Christie - exceeded all of its fundraising targets, raising $140,000 in funds to support GCTC and this year's charity partner, Tungasuvvingat Inuit.

Agatha Christie is missing and barmy ace detective, Miss Clarissa Marbles, needs your help in solving the crime. Was it the cook, the husband, the secret admirer . . . or you? On Saturday, June 9, an entire theatre community will come together to memorialize, embrace and celebrate the life of everyone's favorite person: Terry Heck Seibert. That same community has been mourning the unimaginable, heartbreaking loss of Heck Seibert since April 13 when she died after being struck by a car while walking her dog in her Ann Arbor neighborhood. She would have been 62 on May 5.

59E59 Theaters (Val Day, Artistic Director; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) announces the 2018 line up for the annual EAST TO EDINBURGH festival. EAST TO EDINBURGH begins on Tuesday, July 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday,  July 29. Now including 25 titles, the Collection is a unique set of plays all written by or with the direct involvement of the famous mystery writer and dramatist.

Fiery Angel and Royal & Derngate Northampton present Agatha Christie's Love From A Stranger, directed by Lucy Bailey. The production will launch in Northampton and play for three weeks from Friday 23 February, before embarking on a UK wide tour.

Steve Blanchard, well known as Broadway's longest running Beast in Disney's Beauty and the Beast has joined the cast of Off-Broadway's longest running play, PERFECT CRIME. Mr. Blanchard is already playing Detective Ascher, replacing Richard Shoberg in the role.

Lawyers are known for prosecuting and defending, but for four special nights they'll be in the spotlight playing villains, victims and criminals. The Great Canadian Theatre Company with the County of Carleton Law Association will be presenting Agatha Christie's The Rule of Three from June 6th to June 9th - three one act plays featuring a cast of 23 lawyers and judges for their 19th Annual Lawyer Play Fundraiser.
