Just last night, the American Theatre Wing honored legendary Tony Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson at its annual gala at The Plaza Hotel (Fifth Avenue at Central Park South). The Ziegfeld Society of New York City launches its Eighth Season tonight, September 17, 2016 with Some Enchanted Evenings: The Glittering Life and Times of Mary Martin, written and hosted by David Kaufman, based on his new bestselling biography of the same name.

Full casting has been announced for Wonderful Town at Ye Olde Rose and Crown, by All Star Productions. Wonderful Town is based upon the Play My Sister Eileen by Joseph Fields & Jerome Chodorov and the Short Stories by Ruth McKenney, with music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and a book by Joseph Fields & Jerome Chodorov.
