'Jack & Louisa: Act 1,' a fun-filled story of friendship set against the backdrop of musical theater, is released today, February 10, 2015. The novel is penned by Broadway performers Andrew Keenan-Bolger and Kate Wetherhead. The debut authors drew on their success of their web series, Submissions Only, when creating this middle grade crowd-pleaser. Complete casting has been announced by La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (Brian Kite, producing artistic director), Bruce Robert Harris and Jack W. Batman, and The Transfer Group (Suzan Fairchild, Artistic Producer), for the Los Angeles premiere of the all-new, reimagined, environmental and completely immersive theater production of the legendary musical CARRIE THE MUSICAL. Performances are set to begin at Southern California's La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts (14900 La Mirada Blvd.) on Thursday, March 12, 2015 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 5, 2015. Opening night is set for Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 8:30pm.

54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "The Songs of Adam Wachter: Just Come To This" on Monday, November 10 at 9:30pm. The evening will feature works by up-and-coming and eternally youthful musical theater composer/lyricist Adam Wachter, including original songs from his new musical Tarrytown, the hit web series "The Battery's Down" and "Submissions Only," and new material written specifically for this concert, as well as new arrangements of well-known songs from his varied career as a music director and arranger, all performed by a starry group of his obscenely talented, generous, and attention-hungry Broadway veteran friends. Three established Broadway professionals will help Iowa high school students sharpen their performance skills and learn more about the performing arts industry during the STAGEright Broadway Experience, a weeklong summer musical theater camp presented by Des Moines Performing Arts. Adam Wachter's original musical Tarrytown will get a private industry reading on Monday, March 10th in New York City. Tarrytown is a one act present day musical loosely based on Washington Irving's 'The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow.' Wachter has written the book, music & lyrics. Andrew Keenan-Bolger

Producers announced today that the hit off-Broadway comedy, OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES, which has entertained Chicago audiences for more than five months, will close at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted Street, on Sunday evening, March 2, at 5pm.
