The new musical Foreverman, with book, music, and lyrics by Brett M. On July 3, the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) presented a special preview of the 2012 season, featuring musical selections from Rio, Stand Tall, Himself & Nora, Trouble, Stealing Time, Arnie the Doughnut, Foreverman, A Letter to Harvey Milk and The Groove Factory - just a small sampling of the exciting 2012 offerings. William Finn in his remarks to the opening night audience at Barrington Stage Co said , 'I do not want to overpraise Wilbur Aronson and Sam Salmond because I would like you to discover their great talent on your own.' He also added in typical Finn fashion 'it's the only Mormon show this year you can get tickets to (and it's not really a Mormon show either). I hope you greet it with open arms and an open heart.'

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that due to popular demand, The Old Globe's production of Jane Austen's Emma - A Musical Romantic Comedy will receive a week of additional performances. Created by Tony Award-nominated composer/lyricist Paul Gordon and directed by Tony Award nominee Jeff Calhoun, Jane Austen's Emma is currently in previews and was originally set to close on Feb. 27.
