Oyster Mill Playhouse willl present the comedy, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged. It is produced with special arrangement by Samuel French, Inc. and written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield.

Fells Point Corner Theatre proudly presents on its Main Stage: THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (ABRIDGED!) written by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield and directed by Howard Berkowitz. The "Bad Boys of Abridgement" will leave no joke untold as they deconstruct the entire history of comedy in a dizzying night's entertainment.

Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)[revised] has been extended at The Mix Studio Theater. Emergent Arts, resident company at the theater, will present the comedy The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield for three more performances, Friday and Saturday November 21 & 22 at 8pm, and Sunday November 23 at 2pm. This is in addition to their second week shows of Nov. 13-15 at 8pm and Nov. 16 at 2pm. After six consecutive years, Disney's Beauty and the Beast has relinquished its place as the top musical in the annual survey of most-produced titles in United States high school theatres, unseated during the 2013-14 season by another adaptation of an animated anti-hero: Shrek the Musical. Returning to the list, and rounding out the top three, is Godspell, which has seen its popularity rise after a recent Broadway revival and subsequent national tour.

Featuring Jeremy Dubin, Justin McCombs and Nicholas Rose, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" opens July 25, 2014 and runs through August 16, 2014 and is directed by Artistic Associate, Sara Clark. This show is back by popular demand having not been seen on the CSC stage since 2012!

Final preparations are under way in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park for the 14th annual outdoor summer theatre festival, Shakespeare Royal Oak. The festival begins July 28 and continues through Sunday, August 10. Tickets ($10-$20) are on sale now for Hamlet and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised] and can be purchased online at www.shakespeareroyaloak.com. The idea behind this show - which is pretty much a guaranteed hit wherever it has been produced - is to condense many of Shakespeare's masterworks into a two hour orgy of down to earth humor and outright fun. Opening with ROMEO AND JULIET and closing with HAMLET the trio led us on a merry chase through the classics, poking fun as they go.
